Pour House Pete's is Carnation's dive bar with a kitchen that keeps surprising people: the fish and chips come out long, thick, and juicy, the onion rings get called the best around, and the mac and cheese bites and cobb salad have their own following. New ownership kept the place feeling like itself, and regulars say the staff still greet you like you have been coming in for years.

Grab a table on the patio, or post up inside where the carved wood bar and the TVs on every wall make it an easy stop for a game. It is not a polished experience every single time, honest reviewers will tell you the kitchen and the service both have off nights, but on a good one it is exactly the kind of neighborhood bar and grill people keep coming back to.
