Disney Performance Trip
The Cedarcrest Band, Guard, and Choir are headed to Walt Disney World in Orlando for a performance trip in March 2027. This is a milestone event for the program, and the booster club is actively fundraising to make it happen for every student.

Nicholas Sasse
Music Director since 2025
Education: Central Washington University (Summa Cum Laude, 2023)
Majors: Music Education and Music Composition
Nick began his musical journey at age nine with piano lessons. In sixth grade he joined band as a clarinet player. During his undergraduate studies at Central Washington University, he served as principal clarinetist in the Wind Ensemble, was a section leader in marching band, and served on the student leadership board for the music department. Following an internship at Cedarcrest, he joined Broadway Bound Children's Theatre as music director, then spent 2024-25 as music director at Springbrook Elementary in Kent. He returned to Cedarcrest in 2025.
Nick's educational philosophy centers on empowerment. He believes every student is a vital part of the team, each bringing something valuable and unique. His goal is to create a space where students can thrive both as individuals and as members of a larger community.

An all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organized to promote the music education, activities, and endeavors of the Cedarcrest High School Band. Every dollar goes to the students, and donations are tax deductible.
