Snoqualmie Valley Museum

"We collect, preserve, and share the history of the Snoqualmie Valley, so present and future generations can understand our past." The museum sits in North Bend, but the history it keeps belongs to the whole valley, and it works alongside the Duvall Historical Society, the Tolt Historical Society, the Fall City Historical Society, the Ames Lake History Club, the Meadowbrook Farm Preservation Association, and the Snoqualmie Tribe to keep that story in one place.

Admission is free, always. Inside you will find the exhibits, the Veterans' Memorial honoring valley residents who served, and a gift shop worth a few minutes on your way out. Outside, the Heritage Trail walks you past the places where the valley's history actually happened.

They run school programs for valley classrooms and a Story Time for the little ones, and they keep a growing online photo collection and a blog, which is where most people start when they are researching a family, a farm, or a house with a past.
