Carnation Farms has been farming the same stretch of the Snoqualmie Valley since 1908, when it opened as a pioneering dairy. Today it is an 818-acre nonprofit devoted to regenerative food and agriculture, and one of the best places in the Valley to spend a day on a farm. The Farmstand on Carnation Farm Road is open Wednesday through Sunday with the farm's own dry-aged beef, house-made sausages, organic produce and granola, and a new butcher counter. Through the year the farm hosts farm dinners, cooking and butchery classes, a barn dance series, historic farm museum tours and seasonal markets like the Harvest Market and the Holiday Market. It also hosts weddings, retreats and private events.
